The college student Simanta (20), was injured in the stabbing of the snatchers last Thursday in front of the city’s Minnat Ali Mazar. His father Haji Alam Chan confirmed that his Son died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 9:30 pm yesterday.

Simanta a second -year student was a private college in the capital. On Thursday (December 12th) at 6am, a group of snatchers stabbed him in front of Deovog’s Minnat Ali Mazar while going to the college at around 6 am. Simanta , a resident of Deovog Pakka Road area of ​​the town, is the son of Haji Alam.

Victim’s Father said that while going to college in the morning, the robbers in front of the Minnat Ali shrine stopped Simanta’s bags, mobiles. When he stopped them, they wounded him in the head, stomach and legs and injured him. Locals later rescued him and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

“We have already contacted the OC of Sadar Police Station,” he added. We will file a case in this case.

Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station Officer -in -Charge Nasiruddin said, “Our operation is underway to identify the snatcher.”
