A dead body of a woman was recovered from Char Syedpur area of Narayanganj Sadar. The incident took place on the opposite side of Shanta Pump in Char Syedpur area of Sadar Upazila.

On March 5 2024, at 9:30 am, the local residents informed the law enforcement agencies through the emergency service 999 when the body was lying there.

Later, the police identified the body of the sacked woman recovered from Char Syedpur area of Narayanganj. The name of the rescued dead body is Ananya Karmakar (38). She is the daughter of Nagendranath Karmakar of Barishal Pirojpur.

Shahadat Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar police station said on yesterday night, after recovering the body, we sent it for post-mortem examination. Moreover, we are investigating and trying to unravel the mystery of the true incident.
