Today, Onmorning around 9:45 am Jahanara Begum (50) a resident of Khanpur in Narayanganj, sister of Samrat Hossain Emily and wife of former footballer Zakir Hossain, died after being hit by a heavy metal object while passing under constructed multi-storied building.

An on-site inspection revealed that, Jahanara Begum was on the way back to her home in Khanpur when her grandson reached Mount Royal Academy on Nawab Salimullah Road.

It can be seen in the CCTV camera footage of the next building, Jahanara Begum was walking along the road in front of under construction High rage multi-storied building( Tota Mia’s house at 37 Salimullah Road), Missionpara that time a heavy object suddenly fell on his head and he fell to the Road. He died on the way to the hospital after being rescued in critical condition.
