Police arrested the main accused Imran (42) in the case of the murder of a young man named Shahjahan in Sonargaon.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sonargaon Police Station MA Bari confirmed the matter on Thursday afternoon. However, he was arrested earlier on Wednesday at 10:30 pm from Kanchpur area of ​​Sonargaon.

The arrested Md. Imran Hossain is the son of the deceased Ashek Ali alias Hasu of Chhota Qurbanpur area of ​​Pirojpur UP in Sonargaon.

On the other hand, the deceased young man Shahjahan is the son of Al Islam of Dudhghata village in the same area.

According to the police, the main accused in the Shahjahan murder case, Md. Imran Hossain has been arrested. He has been sent to the court today to give a confessional statement under Section 164. The police operation to arrest the remaining accused is ongoing.

According to the case sources, the young man named Shahjahan was called on his mobile phone on the evening of November 28 and was randomly hacked with a sharp weapon, causing bloody wounds.

At that time, people in the vicinity came to his rescue and took him to the local Upazila Health Complex after hearing his screams.

Later, when his physical condition deteriorated, he was admitted to Prime Hospital in Malibagh, Dhaka.

Later, the young man Shahjahan died while undergoing treatment. A murder case was filed at Sonargaon Police Station.
