Narayanganj Development Authority (NDA) officially started its journey with the determination to build a modern, beautiful and planned Narayanganj city.

This historic program was inaugurated on September 22, 2026 by disclosing the nameplate, unveiling the logo and so cutting the cake at the NDA office.

After this, a discussion meeting was held in the auditorium of the District Shilpakala Academy in the afternoon. The Minister of Housing and Public Works, Mr. Zakaria Taher MP, was present as the chief guest.

The program was presided over by the Chairman of the Narayanganj Development Authority, Mr. Masukul Islam Rajib. The program was conducted perfectly and lively by the NDA’s sub-urban planner Mr. Himel Barua.

The discussion, which began with a welcome speech by NDA Member (Engineering) Mr. Mohammad Moniruzzaman, was followed by an informative slide presentation on the introduction of NDA and future proposed projects by NDA Assistant Authorized Officer and Mr. Abu Sadat Md. Sayem.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department and the Honorable Members of Parliament of Narayanganj were present as special guests at the event.

The event was supported by the Executive Engineer of the Narayanganj Public Works Department Mr. Md. Harun Or Rashid.
