NYK Celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Kolkata

In a grand manner, Nehru Yuva Kendra South Kolkata organized Yuva Utsav under the ministry of Youth affairs and sports, Government of India, with the theme of Sense of Duty among the citizens at the National Library of India on 15th October, 2022.

 

The major objective of the event was celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in the spirit of Yuva Shakti, spread the ideals and values of India’s Freedom Struggle during the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence.

 

To generate appreciation about the diverse spiritual and cultural heritage of country among the masses through various contest like Young Artists Camp, Young Writers Camp, Photography Workshop, Declamation Contest , Cultural Festival and Youth Convention.

 

More than 300 youths took part in the event and was graced by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Smt. Locket Chatterjee, Hon’ble Ex Member of Parliament Rajyasabha, Shri Swapan Das Gupta, the legendary Indian Magician Shri P. C. Sorcar Jr., Shri Barjeet Singh, Second in command, Senior Instructor, ITS SSB, Kolkata, Shri. Ravi Shankar, Deputy Commant, ITS SSB Kolkata, Shri. Mrityunjay Mandal, Emminent Artist and many other distinguished guests.

 

 

At the event Cash prizes and certificates were distributed to all the winners of the competition.
