Popular Medical and Mitu Clinic fine and expedition in Narayanganj city

A mobile court was conducted against the diagnostic center on various charges including unlicensed and these two institutions were fined more than 1.5 lakh taka.

 

Thursday (April 2, 2026), a mobile court was conducted against two institutions in the Amlapara area of ​​Nawab Salimullah Road in Narayanganj city on charges of operating a diagnostic center without a license and providing healthcare in an unsanitary environment.

 

In this operation conducted today, evidence of various irregularities was found in “Popular Medical Services” and “Mitu Clinic”.

 

The institutions were conducting activities without a license, providing medical services in an unsanitary environment, receiving services at an excessive price, and conducting activities that were risky for public health, including lack of sufficient doctors and technicians.

 

For these crimes, “Popular Medical Services” was fined 50,000 taka and “Mitu Clinic” 1,05,000 taka under the relevant sections of the law.
