Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid a courtesy and exchanged greetings with the delegation on the occasion of receiving the ‘FIFA World Cup Trophy’ in the lobby of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban this evening On behalf of Bangladesh.
In her short brief, She reminisced about his family members’ involvement in sports, especially football. She thanked the authorities of Coca-Cola and Bangladesh Football Federation for the arrival of FIFA World Cup Trophy 2022 in Bangladesh.
The Prime Minister said, “Football is a popular sport in Bangladesh. We are working restlessly to get our children involved in sports.”
State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Zahid Ahsan Rasel, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam, Youth and Sports Secretary Mezbah Uddin, BFF President Kazi Md. Salauddin and other senior officials of FIFA, Coca-Cola and BFF were present on the occasion.
